Are e-files tax returns sufficient or tax transcripts are required

Hi every one,

I am new to this forum. I joined today. Greetings to all of you.

I mailed my I-751 already. I mailed 2010 and 2011 tax returns (e-filed returns). I did not mail tax transcripts. I read that this may not be appropriate as tax transcripts are essential. Is this true? has anyone submitted only tax returns and not transcripts. Please let me know.

Can I send the transcripts (which I will get next week)in a seperate mail. Will it get to my packet of documents or will it get lost. Please let me know,

You can only send additional documents if they send you a RFE.

Yes, I did send mine and my wife's W-2. But we are not named together in the W-2. we have seperate W-2s

No problem! That should be fine. As long as you sent every page of your tax returns with the W-2s. Transcripts are preferred but tax returns shouldn't be a problem for you.

To ease your mind, we sent in tax returns (not transcripts) and were approved without an RFE

I all sent in the forms I filled out no transcript I still have not heard anything yet since I only filed in September to VSC ..lol but according to this attorney it is not required:

Hi every one,

My sincere thanks to all your comments. I feel much relieved after reading your comments. I mailed my I-751 packet on 16th with e-tax return copies but did not have the transcripts. Of course I sent our W-2s. I was very worried. Now I feel much better.
