RFE(I-485 &I-102

Okay so I said in an earlier post we recieved a request for evidence.

for the I-102 they want the visa stamp and passport visa page

I was able to obtain copies but the passport has been long destroyed.( mother in law sent it threw the washer)

so my lawyer says oh these copies are too messed up they cant read it. i dont think thats right. i am going to post a picture of the copy please any advice on this.

he refuses to reply to my rfe because of the copy i have. a month as passed since my rfe was sent to me.

secondly my I-485 they are asking for my w2 forms.

they want those not the transcripts (1040)

is this normal?

I sent in an original W-2 since I get like 4 of them. The instructions state tax return and W-2. I would just send in the passport pages and W-2 myself. Your Lawyer sees suspect to me. The passport stamps didn't look bad to me plus they are stamps so some of them don't come out well.

You can only send what you have. They do not look that horrible to me. I am not sure I understand your lawyer stating he refuses to respond to the RFE. You send in the evidence you have, or you get denied for not responding to the RFE within the allotted time. Send in what they are asking for, the stamps and visa page plus your W-2s, before your time runs out on the RFE. If a month has gone by already, you should get all the paperwork from your lawyer, just send it yourself and fire the lawyer. Ask for a refund for his refusal to do the job he was hired to do.

i was able to read the information so i dont see why your lawyer is trying to hold up the process.

I would send what you have and let them tell you its not clear enough if that's the case

That's so much it seems like he wants to prolong the case

Yeah he didn't even tell me he recieved a rfe I called him after checking my status online!
