How many days it takes to get a visa in hand.I need a response please?

EVERYTHING IS WITH THE HELP OF GOD. HE NEVER LET US DOWN. HAVE FAITH IN YOUR GOD!!!! I LOVE YOU BABY FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART!!!

-October 12,2011 Petition sent to CSC
-October 19,2011 NOA1
-Feb.27,2012 NOA2 approval (131 days from NOA1)
-March 7,2012 The Petition Forwarded to Consulates:)
-March 23,2012 Packet 3 and 4 Received.
-April 3,2012 Visa Approved
-April 20,2012 VISA in my Hand.Yey. smile.pngsmile.png
-April 25,2012 My Flight and My POE is JFK
-August 03,2012 AOS filed
-August 28,2012 RFE
-September 05,2012 RFE sent and They received it on Sept.13th
-October 10,2012 EAD approved
-October 18,2012 EAD card in the mail.Yey

-September 6,2013 Green card APPROVED!!!!

A bit more information is needed. Were you told that you were approved? When was the interview?

Sent I-129 Application to VSC 2/1/12
NOA1 2/8/12
RFE 8/2/12
RFE reply 8/3/12
NOA2 8/16/12
NVC received 8/27/12
NVC left 8/29/12
Manila Embassy received 9/5/12
Visa appointment & approval 9/7/12
Arrived in US 10/5/2012
Married 11/24/2012
AOS application sent 12/19/12

AOS approved 8/24/13

A bit more information is needed. Were you told that you were approved? When was the interview?

I was approved,but they didn't give your passport with a visa at a same day.

The wife received hers the next day, but that is the Consulate in Almaty which seems to be one of the best organized Consulates the US runs based on other's comments here on VJ. Have you check to see if anybody here has a review of the process at your Embassy as this is very specific to how each Consulate/Embassy does business. We can give you estimates, but only someone who has been thru the same location as you can give you more factual information. I can give you the standard USCIS speele of "wait 30 days before calling us." :whistle:

After The Interview with in one week If the visa application is approved, you must arrange for delivery of your passport with the visa, as well as your Immigrant Visa document packet, directly with the Bank of Abyssinia agent located at the Embassy entrance. Bank of Abyssinia will deliver the passport, visa, and immigrant visa packet to any branch of Bank of Abyssinia in Addis Ababa.

Did you pay Bank of Abyssinia?

After the InterviewIf the visa application is approved, you must arrange for delivery of your passport with the visa, as well as your Immigrant Visa document packet, directly with the Bank of Abyssinia agent located at the Embassy entrance. Bank of Abyssinia will deliver the passport, visa, and immigrant visa packet to any branch of Bank of Abyssinia in Addis Ababa. Bank of Abyssinia collects a service fee of 50 Ethiopian birr per passport for this service. You may then pick up your passport and visa from your selected Bank of Abyssinia branch at your convenience.
