Major Phase 2 begins ...

Section 2.1 - AOS/EAD packet mailed.

Well, after 3 weeks of preperation and countless numbers of rechecks (which, btw, DID find some ommisions and errors) I have finally concluded all has been done that can be done and mailed off the AOS and EAD packet.

Yet still I wonder, nay .. I WORRY .. that something is still amiss.

But ever hopeful that surprises are soon to be had (and may they be good ones at that!)

<you can see what the stress is doing to me, can't you?>

yes, how it does fly. I spent alot of time in the SAWASDEE 2 thread, and have browsed through this forum on occasion for information when i was preparing the AOS paperwork. I had been thinking about the AOS process since before we filed the K-1 petition!

I have to keep editing my sig to keep within 1500 chars. thats a challange in itself. :D

Tracked my package and found out:

Delivered, February 25, 2006, 5:25 am, CHICAGO, IL 60680

One nice thing about a lockbox is that noone needs to be home to get it delivered. So, hopefully it will be picked up tomorrow and processed.

If you are lucky and everything goes right your AOS will be transferred to CSC and you will get Paiwans' GC without an interview. Mariya is so happy that she does not have to interview. She is still worried about her english and did not want to go because she is afraid they would not understand her. We got approval just two weeks after it was transferred to CSC.

So hang in there you will not have any problems and soon yuor worries will be over.

I took Mariya razor clam digging yesterday and now she wants to dig on her own. She loves all the seafood we get here. Now she is into steelhead fishing, crabbing and digging clams. In April I will take her diving for abalone in Fort Bragg.

Yeah, having to speak to someone is Paiwan's biggest fear. I see almost 3 months for your AOS process, not bad. I am kinda excited even though Paiwan is like "what? another card I have to put in my wallet?" My brother's wife's mom showed Paiwan her green card so she could see what it looked like.
