Please describe what it means to be "touched". I have seen it next to many of your dates on your timelines!

I have not received an update regarding my case since Dec. 29. I received my NOA1 on Dec. 6. Does "touched" mean that they said something new when you type the case no. in the case status online webpage?

"Touched" means that the date on the case status screen changed, I think. My case has yet to be touched, so this is all anecdotal knowledge.

Conditions Removed! Ten-year green card received 6/24/2009. No more USCIS for a very long time.

ridley is correct! If you go onto the USCIS website and log into your page, there should be a last updated date. Whenever this changes, that means you have been touched, so you were last touched on Dec 29th :) This just means someone has picked up your file, it doesn't necessarily mean it is being processed but multiple "touches" sometimes indicate that your case is being worked on or could mean an RFE is on it's way. Either way it's a good thing because it means your file hasn't been lost behind someones desk!
