I recently changed my phone number and I was wondering if I should let USCIS know about it. I have read that a lot of people receive text messages when their rocesses make any progress. When I sumitted the I-129F I received an email when they notified me about NOA1, but I am still waiting for NOA2.

Thanks for your advice!

If you signed up for text messages on the USCIS Case Status page, log in and change it there.

The reality is: They won't call you so a change of Phone Number is not important. What is important is Addresses, e-mail addresses. Never heard of USCIS or Consulates calling before. I don't think it happens. Be sure your set-up for text messages.

Whoops! I misunderstood the question.

If you read the original post, that's exactly what OP asked about: text messages, didn't say anything about phone calls.

And since OP in the meantime signed up for text messages as is evident from his second post, this has already been fully answered.
