Hello Everyone

I am filing for AOS. On the 1-485 they are asking for my husbands Alien number. Where can I find this? Would this number be on the US visa that was stamped when he entered on the K1? Or the one on back of his I-9 card?

Also where is the I-94 nuber?

Thanks for your Help

The alien number is the A-#1234567 which you can find on the US visa in the passport, the I-94 number is the number on the top of the white I-94.

A number = alien number

It's probably on the 1st notice of action (NOA) you received from the petition filing and the 2nd NOA the petition approval. It's also probably written on the I-94. Should be a 9 digit number, but sometimes they leave off the lead zero. Would look like A 012 345 678 or A 12 345 678 (in this case just add the lead zero). Hopefully, they all match.

I-94 number is the 11 digit number near the top of the I-94. 123456789 10

Sure you don't need the nonimmigrant visa number too? That's the number in red lower right of the visa.

THANKS FOR YOUR HELP.. but this is confusing ,, THIS IS WHAT I HAVE? On the I-94 there is a handwritten number that goes like this A12-345-678 in the Record of Changes section. On the visa it says A1234567.

Which one should I put?

Thanks

You've been given the answers.

The Alien Number is listed on the NOA2 (it will start with A). It will be on the K1 visa (it will start with A). It will be on the back of the I-94 in the Record of Changes section (it will start with A).

The I-94 number is the printed number on the top of the I-94 stub in the passport. It has Departure Number written above it.
