I was wondering how long you normally have to wait for the approval of your AOS. We sent ours in on December 1 2011 and atill have not heard anything except that is was transferred on December 21 to CSC. Its been 4 months and I was wondering if we should call to inquire about that status.

I was wondering how long you normally have to wait for the approval of your AOS. We sent ours in on December 1 2011 and atill have not heard anything except that is was transferred on December 21 to CSC. Its been 4 months and I was wondering if we should call to inquire about that status.

I know it can get us anxious. I don't think calling will do you any good. Did you get an email of your case status update stating that your case is now being processed? Or is it just stating that it was transferred for faster processing?

It only said it was being transferred. I looked at the USCIS website and it only shows 1 thing for AOS and that states 4 months.

05/04/2011- appointment letter received dated 06/01/2011

06/01/2011- appointment date, put on administrative review
