Where to file for USCIS Form I-485 and I-130 together?

The instructions state that for USPS deliveries, send to USCIS - PO BOX 805887 - Chicago, IL 60680-4120 and to send all express mail and courier deliveries to USCIS - Attn: FBAS - 131 South Dearborn - 3rd Floor - Chicago, IL 60603.

I used USPS Express Mail and sent it to the second address. Is this going be ok? Please help. Thank you.

i sent mine to the first address by USPS like the instructions stated.. why didn't you? it explains clearly in the instructions, why make things more complicated then they are.. either way, good luck.

Only reason why I did not was because it stated express mail...and i read that if i send USPS express mail to a PO Box Address and since mine would be delivered on a Saturday, it would not be received by anyone in person..Should I go back and get my mail?

i don't know what to tell ya, but i don't see that big of a problem with it.. did you get a delivery confirmation?

That's express service do its okay. I sent mine that way. It doesn't matter if you used USPS express service. Express is express.

Wow! That was a harsh reprimand. The funny thing is that she did it correctly. Express mail is express regardless of which carrier delivers it. She used USPS EXPRESS Which means that she has to use the express address. I just want to point out that she did not complicate matters but followed the instructions perfectly. It is safe to say that you are the one who misunderstood the instructions. Anyway, all the best in your journey.

It means that you didn't send it express. You sent yours by regular mail and used the correct method as instructed by USCIS

You sent it to the correct address. Even if you hadn't, you shouldn't worry too much about it - I sent mine Express Mail to the PO Box address (erroneously) and got a message from USPS saying no-one was there to sign for it (obviously, it's a PO Box). Later that afternoon I assume someone from USCIS went to pick up and sign for all the packages, because mine got picked up then. So it seems all the packages get to the right place eventually regardless of which of the two Chicago addresses you send it to
