Hi everyone,

I sent our I129F petition on March 22 via certified mail from Spain but have not received anything, neither the signature receipt, the NOA1, nor an email/text from USCIS. How long does it take to get word of anything? I'm afraid the packet may have gotten lost somewhere. My check has not cleared yet, and it's been over a 8 days since I've sent it. Has anyone ever petition from abroad? How long did it take you to receive notice?

3/22/2012: Sent I-129F from Spain to Dallas Lockbox

3/29/2012: Packet received at CSC

4/2/2012: Touched

4/3/2012: Received Email notification of Receipt w/ case number

4/3/2012: Check cashed

4/13/2012: Received NOA1 hardcopy in Spain

7/19/2012: NOA2 approval (email and text notifications)

7/25/2012: NOA2 Hardcopy received

7/27/2012: NVC case number received

7/30/2012: NVC sent packet to US Embassy in Madrid

8/16/2012: Received packet from Embassy

8/23/2012: Received appointment letter from Embassy

8/28/2012: Interview and Approved!

8/31/2012: K1 visa received!

It can take a couple weeks up to 30 days.

Your I-129f was approved in 5 days from your NOA1 date.

Your interview took 67 days from your I-129F NOA1 date.

AOS was approved in 2 months and 8 days without interview.

ROC was approved in 3 months and 2 days without interview.

No, my USC has always lived in the USA never abroad. We also got a military expedite on ours.

I didn't send my petition from abroad, but left it at my parent's house in the US over Christmas completely finished and then they sent it, but the NOA1 was sent to my US address, not my address abroad. If you listed a US address, I guess it would be sent there.

Well I'm the beneficiary, so my BF got it in the US. It's sent to the petitioner's address. Now welcome to the looong wait :)

They do not expedite if you are abroad together?
