Hello everyone i was wondering which is better when sending money to the philippines should you send in USA dollars or should you send in peso ?

I have heard several things but was told recently that its better to send in usa money and not peso as they are taking a cut off of it on the other end.

It's got to be converted at some point. I am not sure that you can wire money to the PH in U.S. Dollars. I may be wrong

( This is Michael... happyndinlove...I built my own profile bcoz the mods..and other members ... kept bugging me to build my own profile so....I suspect...they could identify if it is Asawa Ko or myself writing the ....hmmmmm...let's say...controversial posts ...I think they found out...well..it's both of us ...but..I still argue... although I am more sarcastic.. Asawa Ko is much much more mean. anyway...)

We always send the transfer in US$ and let the bunso's shop for the best exchange rate. It seems to us...they garner more pesos this way and more pesos is always better than less pesos.

Yes, send it in US DOLLARS. Because if you don't it's a good 1 1/2 peso difference between the regular exchange rate and what western union exchange rate is per dollar. I know because I sent in pesos the very first time, and the rest of time is in US Dollars
