I need your help and advice------

my fiance filed k1 last november 15 2011 and got our notice jan 5,2012

We were still waiting till now for our NOA2 then suddenly i was shocked to know that my fiance failed to check the infos in the NOA 1 and the error was my birthdate it should be mar 19 not 21 now what is the best thing to do???

according to uscis website our case is on initial

review----

how to revise and report the error???

do you think it will cause delay??

will it be one cause of red flag?

06/03/2015-Called to get address updated Ar11 online add change didnt work-got infopass for June 10th

06/10/2015-Went to info pass appt. Hubby got a 1yr. Extension stamp in his passport and biometrics done

08/12/2015-ROC Approved. Got letter in the mail.

08/29/2015-received new card in the mail.

Call them and tell them. If you get RFE'd, then include that in the cover letter and highlight it with a yellow highlighter. Include a copy of the original document with the birthdate also highlighted. If not, then deal with it at the embassy.

My fiance's birthdate was changed at the NVC. No biggie. The embassy said they'd take care of it. We will see.

I work in a busy ER in a major city and I have patients that sometimes tell me that they got a new birthday when immigrating. Apparently, as long as it is fixed before a social security card is issued, it can be fixed, otherwise, celebrate twice!

that's the same thing happen to me. for some reason my fiance country of birth was unknown even i stated it on the I-129F. what i did i called the 800# in the I-797 and they will do the change for u.

The longer it takes to happen the more you'll appreciate it when it does!
