So what is the stamp for the passport? Do we need it? People talk about IO taking their I-94 or something but if we were approved without interview and the green card will just be mailed... is there anything else we need to do?

We want to travel to Bogota in April, does my husband just travel with his passport and green card and thats it? Just want to make sure we're prepared. Thanks!!

The stamp acts the same as the green card. They do not give out the stamps much though, usually only for those that are approved and need to travel immediately for an emergency or something. Your green card will be on its way soon. There is nothing else for you to do at the moment but wait for it to arrive in the mail. Yes, he will just need his passport and green card to travel. The green card is what he needs to show he is a legal permanent resident and get back in the US.
