My husband was on an expired F1 status, we got married in 2010, send AOS papers in nov 2011, got one RFE for co-sponsor on the affidavit of support, then finally had our interview last Fri, march 16th in Atlanta. Our appointment was at 10:15 but he called us at about 11:00. The interview went ok, the IO was a very friendly African american gentleman probably in his late fifty`s early sixty`s and ex millitary. Asked as how we met, verifyied our DOB`s. Asked for evidence of co-mingling, we started to give him all the stuff we had but he only took one bank statement and did not care for the rest. He then told my husband congratulations you are approved and you should get your card in 2-3wks, honestly the interview was painless we were in his office for about 15min. He walked us out and explained to us the next step in the immigration process. Of course we were very excited and celebrated after that. Our online status has not changed, its still under interview and we have not recieved anything in the mail is that normal. I have been reading reviews and most people have been indicating that their online status changed the same day or the day after, is it normal for the online status not to change. Thanks in advance

Oh! I only can imagine how worried you are. But since IO said you are approved the best thing you can do is call them and ask what is going on.

JudyJones, MarcAntony, did the IO stamp your passport? I heard that they don't really do this anymore but I'm jut slightly curious. If they did stamp your passport, then I guess you don't have anything to worry about anymore other than to wait for the GC to arrive. CONGRATULATIONS to the both of you!

hey friends

Today I received an update on my I485 case: Decision

On April 4, 2012, we mailed you a notice that we had registered this customer's new permanent resident status. Please follow any instructions on the notice. Your new permanent resident card should be mailed within 60 days following this registration or after you complete any ADIT processing referred to in the welcome notice, whichever is later. If you move before receiving your card, please call our customer service center at 1-800-375-5283.

Do you guys have any clue of what to expect in the mail?
