Timeline

my 1-130 date is August 24, 2011 and i still have not received a NOA2.

does anyone else have aug. 24?

i also called but all they tell me is to wait a few more weeks because they

are working on aug. 2nd.

anything else i can do? or a different number to call?

i wonder what is taking so long.

BTW off the topic, i wanted to change my status at work from single to

married, but in small letters on the W-4 it states that if spouse is

a nonresident alien to select single.

do you think this would be a red flag if my pay stubs say single??

my taxes for 2011 are filled as joint with a W-7

I put single on my W-4 because I was just following the instructions..that my husband is a non-resident alien, so I should put alien. I did feel weird about doing that though

The only thing you can do is switch off the PANIC button and wait!
