While I was helping my sister (our co-sponsor) lay a new tile floor in our parents kitchen, I get a text message. It took me a few mintues to look at it.

I screamed "OMG ITS FROM IMMIGRATION"

We ran to the other room so I could check my email...

From: USCIS <USCIS-CaseStatus@dhs.gov>

Date: Fri, Mar 2, 2012 at 10:45 PM

On March 2, 2012, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I130 IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN.

We both screamed then hugged each other and started jumping up and down.

I called my husband and told him to check his email (I forwarded) He read it out loud over the phone, then said "So what does this mean?" he had to read it two more times for it to sink in!

USCIS- 260 Days

6/8/11~ Mailed I-130 Application, withdrew Canadian PR application
6/16/11~ NOA1 email and text message Case routed to CSC (Priority Date)
7/12/11~ The 'Money Order' Incident/Returned to Tennessee

It was a very long, frustrating, stress filled 260 days. All I could do was sit and stare at the web site and cry over a bubble that moved lol.
