I-134 or I-864 for K3?

Hey everyone.

Can you clarify whether the I-134 is required, or is the I-864 just as good?

The reason I ask is that the I-134 requires 3 yrs of income taxes, whereas the I-864 just requires your current salary, correct? I've only been working full-time for the last year, and am in a very steady job and make more than enough income to support my wife, but will it be a problem that I didn't have enough income to pay income tax for the two years prior?

Thanks!

For the K-3, when an affidavit of support is used, is the I-134.

guest,

And the I-134 requires income tax returns only for the self-employed. What the consulate might require without regard to the I-134 is, however, another matter, and consulates often ask for either 1 or 3 years of tax returns.
