my mom filed i130 for me 10 years ago...2003.that has been approval..so fast forward to 2008..they said they will send me notice of action but i didnt receive them so i assume they moved my case to nvc..now i havent heard from them since.i dont know what to do now..will i give up or patient wait

We need more information:

- Is your mom a US citizen or greencard holder?

- Hopw old are you and are you married or not?

For example if you are the married child of a US citizen and from the Philipines, you'll be waiting another 11 years. On the other hand, if your mom is a greencard holder and oyu got married, then you give up because greencard holders can only petition for unmarried kids.

Me: Irish/ Swiss citizen, and now naturalised US citizen. Husband: USC; twin babies born Feb 08 in Ireland and a daughter in Feb 2010 in Arkansas who are all joint Irish/ USC. Did DCF (IR1) in 6 weeks via the Dublin, Ireland embassy and now living in Arkansas.
