I just clicked on this morning and still no appointments available. I will keep you all posted if anything comes up.

When they opened up in October, it was about 11:30 in the morning. Not trying to give false hope, but they DO have to open sometime!!

Same here. I'm not able to log on and when I called the number to try to book over the phone (I know its the same system but you never know) it keeps disconnecting on me.

Posted on their homepage: "Our system is currently experiencing technical difficulties, we are working to resolve the issue as soon as possible. Thank you for your patience." Go figure...is this part of their updating the system to post dates?? Just curious if anyone has experienced this before.

In the past the website has gone under maintenance before they release new dates. It's not a guarantee, of course, but it's a possibility.

We emailed the consulate a week ago about when new appointments were to be coming available. This is the response we got just now......

Good day,

Thank you for your inquiry.

The Consulate General in Montreal is committed to scheduling immigrant visa interview appointments as soon as possible after the applicant’s file is documentarily ready. The Consulate General works closely with the National Visa Center and CSC Visa Information Services, our appointment system contractor, to determine the number and category of immigrant visa cases that are ready for interview, and ensure there are adequate appointments available. The calendar is reviewed several times per month, and additional appointment slots may be added as available visa numbers change. If there are no appointments available, applicants are requested to re-try in a few days, as it is likely additional appointment slots will be opened.

Applicants who need assistance in making an immigrant visa appointment can visit the CSC Visa Information Services website http://canada.usvisa-info.com/, contact CSC Visa Information Services by e-mail at contactus_en_CA@usvisa-info.com or call by phone to speak to an appointment operator:

Ottawa – 613.800.0917

Vancouver – 604.800.2794

Quebec City – 418.800.1751

Toronto – 647.955.3736

Montreal – 514.400.2591

USA/CANADA – 1.877.341.2441

United States – 703.439.2319

I hope that this information may be useful.

Sincerely,

OP8
