I had a similiar situation although not the DS156. I ended up uninstalling my printer driver/software. After re-installing the driver/software (installed the latest version), it worked fine.

P.S. You have to change the printer from your default to the XPS viewer when you click on "Print" from your browser, select "Print", and then it should prompt you for a file save name and location.

Let me know if your problem is fixed. If not I can remote into your PC using teamviewer.com. You will have to run it on your PC, it is free and then you will give me the code and pssword it give you. I can then see what you are doing and try to help you if still needed. I am an IT Support Technician.

You could also just share your screen on Skype with someone offering help, and then could walk you through it. That way, you don't give any remote access into your computer.

If they don't want my assistance remotely, that is fine. I am an IT Support person working for a reputeable company that is both U.S. and Worldwide. I am not a hacker and they can close the session down anytime. They can see what I do or I can just watch them to see where the problem is. Using Skype will not tell you what problem they are having, but watching them you can actually see and help them. Whatever decision they make, I will resepect. Just offiering my services.

Same here... The fastest and easiest program to use is Team Viewer. they can see everything that is being done and we can also voice chat video chat or even type within in the session. Amazing program.

Very secured too because you have to give the other guy connecting to your computer a user id and passport to connect and the password changes randomly each time you load the program up.

To the OP, there could be many issues that can cause the issue that you are having. So, if the above doesn't work with the printers and cache deleting then I would suggest some remote help.

OK. I appreciate everyone trying. I have ie9.0.4. I have lastest java update. I have adobeX. I have cleared the cache. Still not working. Now comes to page that says:

Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage

What you can try:

Diagnose Connection Problems

More information

I think my best option is to go to internet cafe and try there, even though I hate putting information onto another computer.

I can help you if you like. It is not a good idea to put that kind of information on a public cafe. Just let me know.

Oh that is good to know. I am a potential network administrator. Now I know where to apply to have them catch up with the rest of the generation.

Thank you for informing us on the Version of IE.

I did mine through IE 9 as well. I had no problems with it.

It is not about catching up, it is about how slow they are to go thru the approval process :)

I have found that issue at times. Up top in the URL window is a torn piece of paper icon, click on that as it will allow compatibility view and may fix your issue.

It's really easy if you just print it to an XPS - As far ask the IT support, I don't care which way they go really. Either way will allow people to converse an chat while looking at the other's screen. Skype just doesn't allow remote control. I haven't used the other program.

Yes I use XPS quite often to save pages to my computer. I have full blown Adobe on my other computer that works quite well for saving just the forms.

It is not your computer! Let it sit! It is the site. I had the same problem the day before and the day of my interview. We printened it out without the barcode and went to the interview. We was told it was not complete. We went to the office that was near by and they did the 156 form over again but could not get the barcode screen up. They was on laptops, the asked the girl to redo it on the hardline computer and she could not get the barcode screen either. We waited for like 15 mins as it was loading... or look like it was.. we was about to get up and leave and it pops up.. she printed it out and we finished the interview. You have time let that dam thing sit as you try other ways. It might be slow on the goverment side or something. maybe it is the connection or something. It work fine for me in the US but in Domincian Republic it was like really bad dail up! Hope this helps.

I appreciate everyone trying to help. I still could not get it to come up. I went to internet cafe and did it there, even though I hate using other computers for this kind of stuff. I did notice it took awhile for it to pop up there. I had them print it out and came home and tried again and would not work. Oh well all is done. Good Luck everyone.
