Timeline

As you can see from our timeline, we applied for AOS in June. We recently got the EAD and AP approved so now I am wondering what comes next. MSC doesn't process AOS, right? We would have to be transferred to a service center or my local office? Will we receive a message when the transfer takes place? Why hasn't it happened yet if so? That means the application is just sitting at MSC.

By the way, we are adjusting from F-1, so I don't think a transfer to CSC and approval without interview is likely.

Timeline

- MSC does not process the I-485 portion.

- You will be transfered to a District Office, not a Service Center (assuming you are correct that you won't be transfered to CSC)

- You will not get a notice that your case has been transfered to your District Office, but you will get one on the off chance you are transfered to CSC.

- Some are slower/quicker than others. You can check up above in the Processing Times tab to see the date your DO is processing. You can also check Immigration Timelines to see others that have gone through/are going through the same office as you.

Great, thanks! It looks like Newark is currently processing cases from March, so we have about 3 more months if I follow that timeline. I was just worried that our case is in a broom closet in Missouri since we hadn't received a transfer notice.
