We were just about ready to mail in our i-129f petition when I realized that the payment needed to be "drawn on a bank or other financial institution located in the United States and must be payable in U.S. currency". This is difficult as we are both living abroad at the moment and my fiancee ( the petitioner) does not have any bank accounts in the US for now, we are both currently in Southeast Asia. I heard a bit on the forum about international money orders and i'm not sure how it works exactly. Could someone please tell me and let me know what the best move would be?

Welcome to the forum!

Consider following the advice of the USCIS with regards to methods of payment.

Good luck.
