Hello guys, i am sending my N-400 next week can someone provide me with the right answer please? i have: Divorce Degree - Copy of my Green Card - 2 Pasport Photos - N-400 form all filed out - Check of $680. and i am confused about the tax return do i have to send them with the aplication as well or take them with me to the interview? is it 3 years or 5 years? because i am filing based on 5 years rule? thanks.

Alawi - You have already asked this question by starting a previous thread. Its understandable to be nervous about the N400, but you are asking the same questions by starting new threads. Here was the answer you had got earlier -

You are applying based on 5-year residency and you do not need to submit any tax return transcripts. Order the 5 year tax return transcripts from the IRS and have them with you during the interview just in case the officer asks for them. Do not send them in with your application.

Here is a list of what you need to submit:

1. Filled out N-400 form.

2. Photocopy of front AND back of green card.

3. Two passport-style photos

4. Check for the fees ($680)

Naturalization Journey

10/12/11: Sent N-400 to Dallas lockbox via USPS certified mail

10/18/11: Delivery confirmed

10/21/11: Check cashed

10/25/11: Got NOA by mail. Priority date 10/18

10/28/11: FP notice received by mail

11/18/11: FP done per schedule

01/03/12: Yellow letter received (dated 12/12/11)

01/06/12: Status changed to Testing and Interview (inline for scheduling)

01/18/12: Status changed to Interview Scheduled

01/21/12: IL Received

02/23/12: Interview: approved. Oath: completed

Phew, what a journey! I am a US Citizen.

02/27/12: Applied for U.S. Passport & Passport card

03/26/12: Received passport

Hi Not BonJovi, yeah i had asked the same question but only one person answerd, why dont you answerd than thats mean you read it but no answer we have this website here to discuss things and help each other. :yes:
