Hi guys....i am in F1 Category n i will be sending DS-230 to NVC.

On column 9 it is asked abt Marital Status, but below that it is written ; "Including my present marriage, i have been married ______ times.

i am single n not married, so i have put 0 in that field.

Is that ok to put 0 in that field??? or it can create any trouble or issue with NVC??

Answers highly appreciated.

I have put a 0 as well, so I don't think it will really matter. As long as something (0 or N/A) is written, it should be OK.

On the same form, when it says date of marriage (Item 18), is it OK to put when my fiancee and I had our engagement party? If this is incorrect, I will have to tell my fiancee to redo the DS-230 by hand (I typed it out and mailed it to her).

I realized the mistake I made after I sent her the package :wacko: I immediately called her uncle (who lives in my hometown) for him to tell her NOT to send in the copy I filled out. He is in contact with my fiancee on a daily basis so I'm sure she will redo the form all over again.
