Hello to all ,im new here at visa journey . And apparently like everyone here i have question that i needed help or atleast someone give me idea what to do. Im tryin to petition my father so he can be with me and also help me out bcoz currently pregnant right now and i need my father here soon before i get birth or atleast after i go back to work. Its really expensive to put my baby to daycare and me and my husband wish i can stay home but u know life in america its always not easy :( heres my concern.

* My father name is Teodulfo on his birth certificate, but on his marriage cert. is Teodolfo as can see its really different letter between the two name . But his real name actually Teodulfo but do u think they dont mind it if i send them like and not notice it. I just dont want to get rfe at the end and waste more time . and also my sister only send me a copy thru email and printed it do i need a original copy to send the application .

* Do i include my original copy of Citizen cert. or just copy is enough for them .

this is what i have so far.

I-130 form

My father Birth & marriage Cert. (I only have Xerox copy)

My Birth & citizen cert.

money order.

Im making $24,000 a year and my husband is willing to sponsor my father also .

I know the I-864 u dont needed to send until they ask u . Am i right ? Pls let me know if im missing somthing or do i need to include both of my husband and i taxes also. Thanks for understanding on my long Question

Regarding your father name you will need a affidavit of name change and you need just 2 people to get signed saying that they know your by Teodulfo and that is it! I had a problem on my name very simple like you dad's name and just to avoid a RFE I got the affidavit done! Now AOS form I-864 for you and I-864A for your husband being a co-sponsor on the same household but this is only when your case goes to NVC processing at this moment is just I-130 with the documents you just mentioned and for you if you had your name changed at wedding you need to send this document as well! Copies will be fine.

Best of luck!
