Hi Girls,

heute habe ich meine ersten drei Kisten abgeschickt: 60 kg - 186.00 Euro!!! Ich muss mein Zeuch einfach haben, habe wirklich schon viel aussortiert und heute nachmittag noch drei weitere Kisten gepackt - heul! Mehr werden es aber nicht, nur noch die 70 kg und Fahrrad, die ich beim Flug mitnehmen kann.

Ich hoffe so sehr fuer alle, die ihr Interview noch nicht hatten, dass es bald kommt. Packen ist super aufregend - endlich kann man was MACHEN und es geht vorwaerts.

Oh, wie spannend, Anja! Hast recht, das Warten und Nichtstun ist das schlimmste... wenn man dann endlich IRGENDETWAS machen kann ist das eine richtige Erleichterung.

Oh Mann !!! Ich wünschte ich könnt wenigstens auf ne NOA warten........ :crying:

Aber bei uns geht jetzt erst mal gar nix mehr....Jim's (doch) noch Ehefrau beantwortet jetzt nicht mal mehr seine Anrufe.Möcht gern nach Pulaski um sie zu strangulieren(würde auch das Problem mit der Scheidung lösen,aber ich denk mal es würd uns nix nützen wenn ich dann im Jail sitz lol).

Wir wissen immernoch nicht ob der case noch irgendwo on file ist und es nur finalized werden muss.....Dann noch die Wahnsinnspreise für Flüge im September und die Angst das die Immigration mich nicht mal rein lässt.....Hört dieser Stress mal wieder auf???

Ja ich hatte damals auch so um die 50 Euro pro Paket bezahlt (keine Luftpost). Die Pakte waren nach ungefaehr 2 Wochen in den Staaten. Ja und bald geht der ganze Kram wieder zurueck nach Deutschland. hehe. Wer haette das gedacht.

Ja, die Preise sind wirklich sehr hoch diesen Sommer. Jedoch hatte ich "last minute" zur Weihnachtszeit vor einigen Jahren einmal recht viel Glueck. Damals habe ich ein Ticket fuer Frankfurt-Seattle-Frankfurt fuer 600 Euro bekommen. Das billigste Ticket hat mein Mann vor zwei Jahren bekommen. Seattle-Frankfurt-Seattle fuer nur 400 dollar. Das war damals ein richtiges Schnaeppchen.

Das meiste, was ich jemals fuer ein Ticket ausgegeben habe, waren 800 Euro im Somemr vor zwei Jahren.

Ich hab damals meine Sachen (3 Umzugskisten) uber den (jetzt) Mann von ner Freundin schicken lassen, der ist in Deutschland stationiert...somit war es fuer mich alles super billig...so um die 40 Euro!! Kann mich also nicht beschweren!

Es wird irgendwann besser - ganz bestimmt....

Verkaufe haufenweise Zeug bei ebay, 220 V Kuechengeraete und alte Babysachen von Henry, laeuft super. Bin froh, dass ich soviel Zeit hatten zwischen Interview und Abflug. Konnte nie packen vor dem Interview, weil Henry dann sicher Probleme bekommen haette. Die Kleinen fuehlen sich doch am wohlsten wenn sich nichts veraendert... Jedenfalls noch in dem Alter.

Hallo!

Habe mich schon laenger nicht mehr hier gemeldet, aber da ich jetzt endlich auch mein Interview habe (31. Maerz), wollte ich gucken, ob ihr mir weiterhelfen koennt.

Mein Interview ist um 7.30 (Schauer...absolut nicht meine Zeit) und ich werde, da ich am Arsch der Welt wohne, wohl in Frankfurt uebernachten muessen. Hat jemand von euch Erfahrungen mit einem guten und guenstigen Hotel wo man vielleicht auch seine Sachen lassen kann? Ideal waere dicht am Konsulat oder am Bahnhof auch wenn die Gegend etwas schaurig ist.

Sonst macht mich das Interview ein wenig nervoes, aber das wird schon. Habe immerhin fast ein Jahr Zeit gehabt mich darauf vorzubereiten und kann es kaum erwarten wieder in die USA zu fliegen und mit meinem Mann zusammen zu leben.
