My fiancee went in for her medical interview today. She was NOT on her period. She was denied vaccination due to the fact they said because it was mid month and that thought she would be ovulating. Not sure what vaccination would be a concern to that but they refused to give her ANY of the vaccination. She is unsure if she passed the medical interview or not. They just gave her a disk of her chest ex-ray and a paper stating she chose to get her vaccination in the USA. But they make it sound like she refused the vaccination. When the fact is they told her she had to wait until after her next period to come in to get them. Paid for these vaccination but the doctor refused to give them based on the idea she was ovulating and could get preg even though she has been on birth control pills last two month so it was impossible for her to be ovulating. Very Frustrated.

Have anyone else ever had this problem?

Has anyone went to Visa Interview Without getting Any Vaccination?

Could not having any Vaccination be a reason for denial?

I don't understand why they would refuse to give her a vaccination unless:

A) She had another live virus vaccination less than one month before her exam

B) They thought she might be pregnant.

Is it possible she may have confused them about the possibility of being pregnant?

She said they did preg test and it was negative.. Just seems like they want to collect money for the vaccination then not give them to the girls they feel are passive and won't saying anything about it. She is very shy and soft spoken. Feel like they are just taking advantage. Vaccination in USA are very expensive. Very frustrating to pay for a full line of vaccination and then to receive NONE until you want to wait a month.. then have to buy a plane tick to go back.

It is awfully odd that they would refuse to give her vaccination. At any rate, once she is in the USA and getting ready to do AOS, she will need to get the necessary

vaccinations. I have heard other VJ members here that the beneficiary got their vaccinations from the local health department and the cost is minimal. So, this is

something you can explore in your state. Good luck!

We had the same issue. If they think she might be pregnant she will not get the shots. When she gets to the US and she is not pregnant, she just has to get them done in the US. Like someone else said, if she has the disk she passed. They will just note it on the DS-3025 (I think that is the form number), that she will get the shots in the US, no worries.
