When you send proof, such as pictures, emails, phone logs, christmas cards and bithday cards etc. do they give it back to you when you are approved/denied?

I've never received anything back from the initial applications. make copies of things unless they request original documents.

I highly doubt that NVC wants anything to do with original greeting cards or stacks of photographs. Send copies of cards and print the pictures 6-8 per page on high quality paper or a full size sheet of cheap photo paper.

The only thing I've heard of people getting back are original documents that are submitted with the DS-230 (birth/marriage/divorce certificates, etc.)

Yes I forgot to mention, you do get many original documents back such as birth certicates etc....usually you get this once you interview at a US consulate and you are approved. No pics etc from the I 130 and that package.

they don't give them back to you unless you ask for them,at the interview ,after the interview ask for all the original documents back. have them make copies to keep for themselfs.
