I-130- for my mother

I was wondering if someone could help me out, I am planning to petition my mother but I do not have my own income, our household income is from my husband. His income is roughly 200% above poverty. Would I be able to use his income to have the I-130 approved, or would I still need my own?

Thank you

as sponsor, you will file the i864 even if you don't work and make $0 income, and your husband will file the i864A as household member.

her husband will be the co-sponsor. the sponsor is always the petitioner. since they are married and live in the same household and file jointly, she files the i864 as sponsor, and her husband will file the i864A as co-sponsor.

the petitoner has to prove to the US government that the benificiary, in this case mom, won't become a public charge.

if the petitioner doesn't work or works and doesn't make enough, he or she will need a co sponsor or joint sponsor.
