Hi there,

First of all... please try to search for answers before you post as this is a very common question and has been answered numerous times :D , also have you checked out the forms and guide section ?

The choice of agent form is recieved by the beneficiary, It can be used to nominate somebody in the US to recieve thier paperwork.

i.e if the beneficiary is in the UK and the petitioner is in the US, the beneficiary can nominate the petitioner (or anybody else residing in the US) to recieve their paperwork for them.

note that the beneficiary still needs to sign all of these forms but it can speed up the process, if the NVC sends the paperwork to the person in the US, they can then send them overseas to the beneficiary via UPS or FedEX or whoever. By doing this it also minimises the chances of your paperwork being lost.

Also please note that you can nominate not to use an agent, in which case return the form indicating that you wish to recieve the paperwork yourself.

Goodluck on your journey

The choice of agent (DS-3032) is a part of the NVC process for the CR-1. The K-3 does not use the choice of agent.
