I once looked at those test questions and would FAIL even being a USC.

Good Luck on the Exam.

It's actually true that many USC by birth would fail but we as immigrants need to pass this test to naturalize. I think it is in fact pretty good that they are doing this test since you learn pretty useful information about the US. I enjoyed preparing for that test. During the civics test, there are no surprise questions. They ask a maximum of 10 questions out of 100 questions all of which you know beforehand. So working on those 100 questions is enough. Once you answer 6 questions correctly, then the officer will stop and tell you that you passed the civics test.

During the fingerprinting, they will also give you a study guide that contains a CD with all the 100 questions and answers. I used that CD in my car and would study while driving. It was in fact fun.

Best of luck.

Yeah. I would first start studying with the flash cards. Once you are more or less comfortable with the questions, I would switch to the CD since that is how the interview will go; i.e., the officer will ask the question and you need to answer. It is not a multiple-choice test. You need to answer verbally on your own.

As I said earlier, just relax and be calm during the test. There are no surprise questions. You will be fine.
