Hello Everyone, I am currently going over the final details of the I-130 and G-325A before sending off. I am the USC petitioner, having lived in Costa Rica for 9 years, over 7 of those years married to my wife. We have 2 daughters together whom have had their US citizenship obtained via the embassy CRBA.

Due to financial hardships, I find myself needing to relocate myself and my family back to California ASAP, givens that we have recently lost our apartment, and we are currently moving my wife and stepson and baby daughter into her parents house, while I wrap things up and fly to California with our other daughter until this process is complete for the IR1 and IR2 for my wife and stepson.

Given the recent quick approvals for people who are residing with the beneficiary outside of the US, whom are now unable to do DCF and instead are sending it via mail and getting fast approvals, would it be wise to send the package while I am still here in Costa Rica? The thing I am unsure about is, that within a few weeks my address will be in California, which is what I was using on the I-130 for my address, as I was going to wait until I flew back to send it via USPS and be moved into my correct address, but with people getting approvals in 8 days, I am wondering if I should try and submit it from here? The problem is that my address will be changing in Feb to be that of California..

Any advice is appreciated.

I would send it now, from Costa Rica. It may save you significant time, and if not, nothing lost. You can always change your address later.

concur. Change any address during NVC intake, not the I-130 submittal (if you want some speed at USCIS, that is)

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.
