We Received Our RFE Hardcopy Today !!

Hi All,

I received my hardcopy of my RFE today in the mail and sure enough, it was only an RFE for the fact that I did not get my fiance's Divorce Decree translated into English. I just contracted with a certified translation firm to get it (and all our other documents) translated from Russian into English. My question is this: since I have revisted my fiance again since I filed the petition and have SKYPE logs, emails, text messages, SKYPE photos, airline receipts, bank transactions, etc from that 2nd trip, should I also include these things in my RFE response so they are part of our file? Or should I just do only what is needed to satisfy the RFE? I appreciate your help on this.

Do what the RFE asks for. Don't overwhelm them with irrelevant documents. The important thing is they get exactly what they ask for and they get it quickly, so your case will move as fast as it can.

Yes, the translation will be ready tomorrow morning and I plan to send it overnight, cerified mail, tomorrow afternoon.

I agree. Send only what they are asking for. Its a Document. Thats what you send. NOA2 will be on its way!

Send what is requested with the RFE sheet.

The best place to show additional trips and information is at the interview at the Embassy.

Trips/visits after the NOA1 date aren't counted as the initial primary evidence at this point anyway unless it's prior to the date you filed the petition. I agree, only submit what the RFE says and save the rest for the interview.
