Hi , I have a bunch of questions. lol

i have been reading up a lot and still have some questions.

first let me say...

I am a usa citizen,

married to hubby 5+ yrs

hubby is in Jordan *but is egyptian

I filed all the papers from usa.

i-130 was approved about 12days ago.

...............

I have called the NVC a couple of times but they still dont have our information put into the system so they cant give me a invoice number yet.

After i do get that number.... (I read i can go online and pay for the next papers for the visa and affidavit of support) If i do that....how long can i expect things to move?

(( i have a friend going to make him the affidavit of support, but he was on unemployment for a year or two and this will be the first year he worked the whole year and will have to file. ...I read online that THERE IS A CHANGE AND THE EMBASSY ONLY NEEDS ONE YEAR OF TAX RETURN PAPERS. is that correct????

and he still hasnt done his taxes .......which i assume will have to be done before feb 15 at latest, so i cant do the A.S. until after that, SHOULD I GO AHEAD AND PAY FOR IT ANYWAY??

Also my husb went and requested the paper from the police like they say and is waiting for that another week. He also went to the Egyptian embassy in jordan and requested the same paper like we were told. THEY NEED A MONTH THEY SAID UNTIL HE CAN GET THAT!

So should i hold off on filing the papers a little while? OR WILL I HAVE A TIME PERIOD TO FILE THEM AFTER PAYING THE FEES ONLINE?????

Is there any other steps i am missing???

help plz :)

thanks

kristen

Your husband (beneficiary) should email the DS 3032 form (choice of agent) to NVC once your NVC case number is generated. Then they will generate the bill and you pay the fees online. The next step after paying the fees is where your husband should be filling up the DS230 part I and II, with part one duly signed, and send in all original documents along with the DS 230 to you for submission to NVC.
