Hi,

I don't know if I opened this topic in the right place but I am very upset right now on the immigration process because I filed an I-130 Petition for my wife. Then after like 2 or 3 weeks I the receipt letter but then after that I have not heard nothing from USCIS, no letter or nothing and whenever I check the status online or I call there number it says the same thing that it is in initial review on the phone when I call them and when I check the status. It has been 6 months and I have not gotten an approval letter or nothing from them. Please if someone can help me and tell what to do because I am really upset and worried plus my wife is too.

Thanks.

One more thing I forgot to add is when I submitted the petition I sent to the Texas Service Center and then I got a receipt letter from the California Service Center.

Call and ask to speak to a Tier 2 supervisor. Also you are entitled to have the official open an enquiry for you once your case has reached the 6 month mark and dont forget to request for a reference number of the inquiry .Thats what i did in my case and i got my approval within 2 weeks after that
