The whole island of Luzon is without power and Luz tells me that things are really bad there right now. Lots of damage. She and her family are OK thank God.

How did you guys communicate? We couldnt get through the phone lines this evening and that includes the cell phones.

Her cell was still working. Her landline was off and on. She lives in Olongapo.

My wife finally got through to her family this morning on the phone everyone is fine her family lives in laguna...

My wife finally got through to her family this morning on the phone everyone is fine her family lives in laguna...

My fiancee also lives in Laguna and the power has been out for at least two day (I'm getting old... cause I don't remember exactly when the power went out), and her cell phone connection has not been reliable. She has been calling and texting me during high points in her signal. I feel bad for the poor souls who had to reschedule their interviews and my prayers go out to all dealing with the aftermath of natures fury. Not to mention there may be another typhoon on the way. Gssss!!!

The power been out for 4 days now from what my wifes family told her and dont know when its coming back on. Hope that typhoon takes another direction and not hit the Philippines again.
