UK Leavers Checklist?

I did search, I promise but I just couldn't find this, but is there a checklist for someone leaving the UK?

I'm trying to get ahead and know exactly what I will need to do when it comes to me leaving the UK and whether I can do anything in advance, even if it's something simple like 'cancel cell contract'.

I'll also be keeping an address in the UK thanks to one of my parents, but live overseas. Does this make a difference?

I believe you can open a US bank account from overseas if you wanted to do that right away.

our bank laws are a joke. my wife opened a bank account with ONLY her passport for ID. bank asked no other questions at all.she did need a legit address here which was my address.

not sure how they will handle an overseas account. best of luck

Did you try "canadian" bacon? That's the same thing as back bacon but that's what it's called here.. it's not like the streaky bacon

Rather worryingly my future wife doesn't like british style bacon. Fine with me though, it means a packet each when we go to Kroger

Canadian bacon is just ham. I'm going to order back bacon soon, it is $150 for ten pounds!

Surely there must be butchers in the USA where you can ask for cuts of meat? I'm almost certain I've seen a wholesaler you can order meat from, granted its in bulk but given the size of most US freezers...

We showed the local butcher pictures of British bacon and he knew right off what they cut was from. We simply do not cut along the same lines. Pity.
