You'll need to do the Biometrics again. I submitted my N400 application in August (check my timeline) but I'm still waiting on the interview letter. A few of us have been waiting for 5+ months.

You can probably count on it taking at least that long. Check out other Monthly threads to find someone else going through the same office as you for approx. No 2 people are the same but it will give you an estimate.

I see that you received yellow letter on the 10/11 did it say that ur case was transferred to the local office?

I filed in late October, got placed in line for interview late november, and received yellow letter late December. I am just patiently waiting now...

It just listed what to bring to the interview, didn't mention anything else.

I filed on Feb 22, interview was on August 11, oath was at Carman on September 15. The interview was at Garden City.

That should have read, "Cadman." Posted from mobile last night - didn't see the subtitle which referred to marriage. It took me just 1 week shy of 7 months from application to oath but my application was 3 years through VAWA.

Glad it's helpful! NYC is always so much slower than other states. What I found frustrating in my citizenship journey was that sometimes people who filed after me, were being interviewed before me. BUT, I am glad I am done! And I was lucky enough to apply for my passport on Passport Day (that's why I got my passport so quickly - no expedition and no overnight fee).

Sorry, I am just now seeing this. I have no answers though, I am still patiently awaiting the interview letter with that info. I was placed in line for scheduling on 11/28, but as with many cases before me, that step can last for months.
