When filing an I-751 for a child or children of the alien spouse, the USC spouse (kid's step-parent) is supposed to fill out their info in Part 4 and sign Part 7.

I'm the USC husband. We thought that the my wife (alien) should sign for her daughters since they are getting their GC's as a derivative of her getting it. But it turns out that I need to sign the petition. We filed mid-April and just got an RFE yesterday.

Are the children Removing Conditions at the same time as your Wife? If they are then you only need one I-751.

Part 4 naturally requires the info of the original petitioner as they all gained their LPR Status through you.

Listing LPR children in part 5 gets them included in the ROC if their Greencard issuance date is within 90 days of their alien parent's.

Don't forget to pay the fees: once for the I-751 and a biometric fee for each LPR who is ROCing.

No, they are doing ROC separately. Mom got her over 6 months ago.

We are getting close, it has been 8.5 months since we applied in mid-April. Nothing until a RFE now. I don't even know what we are supposed to do. It says that I must fill out part 4 and sign the back. But it doesn't say if I just cross out where my wife signed and put my name or if we add new copies of those 2 pages. I called the misinformation line and asked to speak to an IO, but the robot who answered would transfer me up to somebody with a working brain and just read off a paragraph from their little binder of responses. We have an INFOPASS appt for next week to find out how to respond to this.

This is the first "problem" that would have come across in the whole process, from my wife k-1 visa petition, through both of her green cards, and the kids' first green card. Everything has gone smoothly until this.
