hi guys,

Just wanna ask how long does i take for Civil Surgeon to transfer infos from the DS- 2053 to I-693? And / or ho long time does it take to get things done from Civil Surgeon for us to get the I-693? I know I only have 1 vaccination to get as instructed by St. Lukes. And uhm, had anyone been given flu shots? And also, my last medical was just October '11 - wanna ask you guys, do we have to get that tb test ( which i thik is kindda wierd coz with our medical before the embassy interview that is one reason why we have the chest xray's, right? Did anyone also redo their physical exam?

Transfer info to 693 plus 1 vaccine shot not done before coming took about 1 hour. Most of it waiting as they needed to make her medical records history and there were other clients waiting. Net time, was about 15 minutes. Total cost 45 bucks (record transfer was 10). I had researched this and had found a low cost civil surgeon in Denver who only does medical exams for aviation and immigration. And since we were going to marry there, I took advantage and did the 693 there as well.

Before you go to a civil surgeon you might want to get the form I-693 online and fill it up and bring it to the civil surgeon or they will/can provide the form for you and you fill it up when you get to their clinic. I never took any vaccination ever, even in St. Lukes my fiancee and I waived it but I still needed to have the tuberculin test because it is a must. After your done with your medical exam the civil sugeon will give back the forms you filled up and you will be the one who will submit it to USCIS upon filling for AOS.

hi guys,

Hi...

Just wanna ask how long does it take for the Civil Surgeon to transfer info from the DS-3025 to the I-693?

15-20 minutes.

And / or how long does it take to get things done from the Civil Surgeon for us to get the I-693?

The civil surgeon will do everything while you wait. You will leave the office with a completed I-693 sealed in an envelope.

I know I only have 1 vaccination to get as instructed by St. Lukes. And uhm, has anyone been given a flu shot?

Chinook did not get any shots at the civil surgeon's office.

And also, my last medical was just in October '11 - wanna ask you guys, do we have to get that tb test (which i think is kinda weird) coz with our medical before the embassy interview that is one reason why we had the chest xray, right?

Nope...no TB test.

Did anyone also redo their physical exam?

Nope...you don't need a new physical exam.
