It is not required that you attend, although some members here believe it is important. I believe you don't have to worry about the biometrices because I am sure that at the interview, they will advise the beneficiary of this and I think if it's a CR1 case....you've already paid for it. I hope so.

Go to usvisa-info.com and register so u can make the appt. thru the website you will need yor husbands passport number and date of birth. The fingerprints have to be done before the appt. if not they will reschedule him thats what happened with my husband. i suggest you get there 3 days before your interview first go do the medical and get there early it could take 1-2 days for your medical results to get handed back to you and then get the fingerprints appt. in beetween the medical and interview. Thats just my opinion maybe others think differently!!!

Your presence is not necessary during the interview, I am from the Philippines but I was in the Middle East during the whole process and my wife cannot travel to that country.

Biometrics will be done in the US embassy on the day of his interview. Good luck!!

Jan. 24, 2010 - Interview!! Approved

Jan. 28, 2010 - VISA received

Mar. 03,2010 - POE, New York (JFK)

Apr. 12,2010- CA ID

May 20,2010- CA Driving License

May, 25,2010-Wife told me that she is pregnant ^_^

Jan.25,2011- Our daughter was born

Lee and Jen + Karenza
