What happens in this situation?

The EAD card just came a few days ago. I was confused as to whether or not I applied for it. Anyway, we are going to be living separately shortly. I am moving out for a little bit, my grandpa is sick and I have some work lined up over there that I need to persue. But how will this effect our future as far as her getting an unconditional GC? Will she be denied once they find out we didn't live together the whole time? Thanks all

Assuming you stay married, if you are called for an interview you might well be questioned on why you lived separately for a time period. You would be honest about the reasons and provide other documentation that would show you were still maintaining a relationship at that time (like joint bank statements, etc.). If you live apart and decide to divorce, your wife would file for removal of conditions with a divorce waiver and the reason for living apart would be obvious. She would then provide evidence that she entered into the marriage in good faith.

In that case, if she filed for removal of cond. with divorce waiver before she got her GC, then she would have to return to Canada right?

She can't file for ROC before she has a green card. ROC is after you already have a 2-year green card.
