Can NOT use two friends to meet the income requirement. Your co-sponsor must qualify by themselves for the number in their household + the fiance.

I don't know what an "alternative" life means, but your USC fiance must have tax returns and be able to support you once you get to the USA. This will become even more important when it is time to AOS.

Hi there!

Ok... we did not receive "proper" information on this from our lawyer...again---

we asked before we filed...

he des not have tax returns, he has been livng as vilunteer in a community---

we need help from others to establish the economic support factor.

Does anyone know the income level for an adult and a child (9)..? Plus my partner, of course...

Thanks and blessings

Your fiance will still need to file the I-134, even if he does not need to file taxes for the prior year.

Your co-sponsor must meet income for his household size + your fiance, so in this case it is 3 people. The minimum income must be at least $23,162.

Also - your co-sponsor MUST be a USC or LPR.

I want to be clear in my answer, because in your question you asked the minimum income for an adult, a child (9) and your fiance...

I answered based on the assumption that your sponsor does not have anyone in his household other than himelf. So I assumed it would be the sponsor, the child and you totaling 3 people. Let me know if this is incorrect because the minimum income increases by $4,775 for each additional person in the household...

Let me know if you are not clear on this. From your other posts regarding the RFE's on your case it seems like you have not gotten good advice up this point.

I answered you in your other thread, but I will tell you again here too: you can only have one co-sponsor for the I-134 for a K-1. Your fiance will fill out the form as your primary sponsor even if he made nothing for the year. He will need to provide a statement as to why he was not legally obligated to file taxes if he has no tax returns.

Your co-sponsor needs to have 125% or above of the poverty line to cover themselves, their dependents plus you and your child. If they are single with no dependents, the household size would be 3. If they have dependents, it will be more depending on how many other dependents they have. This is the chart for household size: http://www.uscis.gov/files/form/i-864p.pdf

All good answers. Only ONE co-sponsor is used. You can present a box full of co-sponsors, bt they only use one. No combining of income.

Your attorney seems incapable. Refer them to VJ
