you should request status update history from some one got visa recently this will help both of us as mine as also changing rapidly

Guys i recently got my visa, and the same thing happened, first the date of case update was Dec 14, then Dec 28 and on Dec 31st it changed to Issued! on 1st Jan got my Visa in hand!

So I guess the rapid change means actively working on your case which will hopefully result in visa issuance!

You should send your passport as quickly as possible. I renewed my passport last February and sent it in few days. I was put under ap and after 10 months I was asked to resubmit medical, ds-230 which I did. My online status changed like this dec 13, dec 31,jan2m jan 3 so I think that they are working on my case.

yeah, same here, December 12...

our cases seem to be treated similarly, probably lying next to each other in the same stack of paper

FOR NEWBS

Administrative Review: Is when your case is being looked at more closely for accuracy and to make sure all security name and fingerprint checks have cleared and your visa can be adjudicated.

Administrative Processing: Means once you have interviewed it is in security checks for any of these situations: you have had a name hit in one of the many data bases, background checks for fraud, or has missing and incomplete information that must be submitted and the rechecked. Processing is more in depth and than the review process and there is no time limit for this processing to complete. Administrative processing can last a few days or months and in some cases it has endured for years.

what is 221(g) No visa or other documentation shall be issued to an alien if (1) it appears to the consular officer, from statements in the application, or in the papers submitted therewith, that such alien is ineligible to receive a visa or such other documentation under section 212, or any other provision of law, (2) the application fails to comply with the provisions of this Act, or the regulations issued thereunder, or (3) the consular officer knows or has reason to believe that such alien is ineligible to receive a visa or such other documentation under section 212, or any other provision of law: Provided, That a visa or other documentation may be issued to an alien who is within the purview of section 212(a)(4) , if such alien is otherwise entitled to receive a visa or other documentation, upon receipt of notice by the consular officer from the Attorney General of the giving of a bond or undertaking providing indemnity as in the case of aliens admitted under section 213: Provided further, That a visa may be issued to an alien defined in section 101(a)(15) (B) or , if such alien is otherwise entitled to receive a visa, upon receipt of a notice by the consular officer from the Attorney General of the giving of a bond with sufficient surety in such sum and containing such conditions as the consular officer shall prescribe, to insure that at the expiration of the time for which such alien has been admitted by the Attorney General, as provided in section 214(a) , or upon failure to maintain the status under which he was admitted, or to maintain any status subsequently acquired under section 248 of the Act, such alien will depart from the United States.(THE BEST THING IS NOT TO WORRY AND GET LONG DISTANCE PHONE PLAN)
