I know it sounded unbelievable. Someone must have hate me so much to do this to me.

That was my thought. That Visa can expire and will. I always tell Mav to Watch over her paperwork. Pinays are like a walking File Cabinet. They keep everything in their Purse and eventually that Purse is full. Then, put it somewhere and start re-filling that purse again.

Sorry to hear about your situation. Keep your packet safe and check if anything else you need has been tampered with. Did you report your passport missing initially when you couldn't find it?

No, I have not reported anything yet. Would it be better to report my passport as missing or mutilated? The story itself, although its true, sound really strange. However, a lost passport takes much longer to replace and needs more requirements.

Your passport is technically invalid if it has missing pages. The US embassy could refuse to put a visa in it. The airline could refuse to board you. The immigration officers at the airport could refuse to let you onto the concourse. CBP could refuse to allow you to enter the US. In other words, whoever notices it could stop you. You should see about getting it replaced.

I am applying for passport replacement on Monday. After I get my passport, I am hoping that the US Embassy in Manila can reprint my visa. I feel really devastated right now but I know I have to do something about it right away.

As long as the visa hasn't been activated yet then they will usually reissue it. However, the new visa will have the same expiration date as the old one.

You should notify the consulate immediately about the missing visa page. They'll want to make sure nobody tries to use the visa.

Thanks a lot for your reply. I am really panicking right now. It takes 15 working days to have my passport here and my visa expiration is on Feb 1, 2012. I was supposed to leave for the US on Wednesday (Dec 14th). :(
