The birth certificate will never expire.

I don't know about the cenomar or nbi clearance.

The police reports will depend on the consulate. Some consulates say that police reports are good for one year, while others say they are only good for 6 months (unless it has a specific expiry date printed on it). Not sure about Manila. Couldn't find this information on their site. You will probably have to get your Thailand police report again since it would be over 1 year old at the time of your interview.

Somebody else going through Manila wanna chime in here....

the 2006 documents should be ok. only 3 to 4 months old at the time interview. not sure about police certificate from Thailand. if you have not been in Thailand since Oct 2005 maybe it's ok. i'd email the Embassy to make sure.

I see that you have listed a police certificate for the philippines AND the NBI clearance? What is the difference? I saw the NBI clearance needed for the interview, but I thought the police certificate was only needed for foreign countries lived in. Should I have Jenalyn get a police certificate in the Philippines? Or is the NBI enough?

Thanks.

FAM is the Foreign Affairs Manual. 9 is the "chapter" that deals with visas. Try googling it and you'll find a pdf file.

I only offer advice - not even legal. Just the plain and simple kind.
