Greetings Everyone,

Need a little information! My wife had her initial interview on November 1st. However, I was missing my "complete" W-2's for 2010. I sent those in on November 11th and tonight (November 30th) I received an email with a Waybill number of a package they are sending to Acapulco. My question is, the guy told my wife at the interview that once they received the documents they would send the information regarding scheduling the waiver interview. (I hope that is what it is.) Is the waiver interview with me (petitioner) or my wife (beneficiary) or both?

Also, regarding the waiver letters. My attorney and I are finishing up the letter and it's a book. Is this normal? Or, can there be a situation that it's too much information? We included a lot of information with researched documents. The researched documents is more than 90% of the letter.

Thanks for your feedback!

If you don't mind asking. Why does she need a waiver? Just asking because i am getting ready to petition my soon to be husband (He is also from Mexico and i am the USC) and he will need a waiver as well. He had a tourist visa and they took it at POE as they discovered he was working in the U.S. Also, how long did it take for your wife to get the interview date in Ciudad Juarez?

Thanks.

Michell

She needs a waiver for being in the US "without inspection" She came in 2007, we met in 2008, married in early 2009, started the process (I-130) in December 2010. I-130 approved in June 2011, NVC completed in September 2011. First interview was on November 1, 2011.

Its going to take about 3 months for the waiver to be schedule, after the waiver appointment its going to take about two weeks to get a response so don't hang around Juarez like 90% of people do, its not worth it and very costly, they will give her a number to call after the waiver or she can access over the internet with Case Number and passport number, its better to call and they have more updated information, web http://mexico.usvisa-info.com. or number centro de informacion 52-656-212-1016, good luck seriously, oh and be prepared waiver $585.00 Dollars, some people don't take money with them believe me I was there this year. I took the bus from Juarez to Guanajuato more 3 times its very secure and the feds and military protect the public buses and they are super comfortable better than the greyhound by far, seriously.

Thanks for the information DarkJet. My wife had her waiver interview on February 22. She was at the "window" for only 10 minutes she said. They took all the information and the money but gave her passport back to her. The individual that took the information told her that the information and letter will be reviewed and she will receive a response via courier in 2-10 weeks. Once her waiver is approved, we can schedule an additional appointment for her to return for her visa. Is this correct? I have not read this anywhere from other individuals that have applied for waivers in Juarez. Please reply!
