He was approved! He said the process was so easy, especially if you leave your cell phone at home. He said everyone was very friendly. The first thing they said to him was:

"So you are the couple that met watching the world cup game?" They had read over our case a few times at the embassy.

He replied, "Yes" and then they asked him what he was doing in Panama (where we met) and he said he was studying.

Then they asked him a few questions:

"Have you ever been married before?" "What is your fiance's name?" "Has your fiancee ever been married?" "What does your fiance do?"

And then he took the oath and they said to expect the visa in 5 days!!! YAY!!! 80 days until the wedding!!!!

Thank you again for all your help!!!

125 days from NOA1 to NOA2

and

211 days from NOA1 to interview
