I was told in a consultation that the documents I send with the I 130 can be copies, and I just read they have to be originals. Does anyone know about this part?

We sent copies with the I-130 petition.

Petition and G325a forms are original documents. All supporting documentation send with the petition would be photocopies. Originals of the supporting documentation are needed later at the visa application stage. They will either be mailed to NVC or for some countries that have electronic processing available, they will be carried to the interview. In short, the originals are needed but not at the petition filing stage.

We sent copies (Marriage Certificate, Birth Certificates, etc) also :thumbs:
