What kind of felonies did your friend have that got approve for citizenship?

Don't get hung up on whether the crimes are misdemeanors or felonies under state law as federal law controls. The worry is whether they are aggravated felonies. You can find the list of those crimes at INA § 101(a)(43). The fact that you have had so many convictions is troubling. I would definitely consult with a lawyer ASAP. Like before you go back to your interview. I don't know where you live, but around here there are many organizations who provide free assistance with N-400s. Most of them work with lawyers who will look at a criminal record without charge, and they can very quickly tell you what your position is. Everyone who has ever been arrested should do this prior to filing the N-400.

This thread should be split into a new topic... the previous poster was understandably confused between the original poster who had multiple arrests and the latest poster who has one arrest on his record. The original poster was naturalized over two years ago.

It gets rather confusing when someone posts in a thread that is several years old and it isn't likely that the original poster is still checking this thread.
